Jawbone of An Ass contemplates the God's supremacy. Whether it is Yoruban spirituality, or biblical tales, God is supreme. It is also through God that all things are possible. Thus, the names of great men and women are written in the background while symbols of God are presented on top. The work is also inspired by Jawbone of An Ass by Jean Michel Basquiat as well as the art of Sanford Biggers and legacy of Ermias Nipsey Hussle Asghedom.
